Built for small and medium businesses that are seeking a user-friendly and cost-effective 10GbE platform, as well as a RAID-based network storage solution for critical applications, the TeraStation 16TB 5410RN 4-Bay NAS Server from Buffalo has a 19" / 1 RU form factor and takes advantage of iSCSI protocols to help move SMB data at enterprise-level speeds and reduce bottlenecks that can occur on slower networks. It has an overall capacity of 16TB, which is made up of 4 x 4TB SATA III 3.5" NAS hard drives, and is further powered by a 1.7 GHz Annapurna Labs AL314 Alpine Quad-Core processor, 4GB of DDR3 ECC RAM, and Linux OS, allowing the 5410RN to run multiple concurrent services, including virtualized storage. Connectivity to your network is accomplished using one 10GbE port and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and other compatible external peripherals can be connected to the 5410RN using its two USB 3.0/2.0 Type-A ports.

question
What kind of speed can we expect from this as Raid 0 over 10GbE?
With RAID 0 I'd expect to see 700-800 megabytes per second reads and 600-700 megabytes per second writes.
