    XCD 90mm f/3.2 Lens is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Hasselblad Quality in a small package The introduction of the Hasselblad X1D and the initial 3 lens lineup, is a game changer for medium format photography. The 90mm XCD (72mm in 35mm DSLR equivalent) is the longest in the current lineup. It's diminutive in Medium Format terms. Lightweight, balances well with the X1D body and very sharp across the frame. The lens is also compatible with Hasselblad's free Phocus 3 software. That means when an image is loaded into focus from the X1D, all the lens corrects, CA, Vignetting, color shifts, will be automatically corrected by Phocus. This is a great lens and with great IQ. No regrets on this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb lens for portraits and general shooting Wow -- it's hard to believe the resolving power of this lens! Check out the 100 percent crop attached -- a small portion of a hand-held garden shot, taken in dappled existing light. Do you see the aphids on the leaf at upper right? Also excellent for portraits, as illustrated by the other shot attached here, taken in poor restaurant lighting, hand held, at ISO 3200 -- and still great. Very natural and crisp rendering, super autofocus speed and accuracy -- gotta love it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Portrait Lens Since we don't have a longer option yet, this is the lens I use to shoot portraits and the results are excellent. This lens is very sturdy and well made, much more professional feeling than the 45mm. Optically, I don't see ANY distortion, and there's almost no light falloff wide open. My favorite is the 30mm, but this one is great for what it's made for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lens Haven't used the lens a lot, but so far it has performed very well. The lens is quiet and very fast to focus. It sounds very tight and well made as it searches for focus which is lightning fast. The focus is tack sharp, and I have had good success with percentage of in-focus captures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular...but read! Super sharp lens, incredibly built. I'm using the lens for landscapes and am loving it. Would have loved for Hasselblad to offer their lenses w/out shutter for half the cost. I'm finding both 90mm and 45mm shutter mechanisms to not be accurate once the exposure is more than a couple seconds, with the lens shutter producing totally different results over the E shutter with exactly same exposure settings. Maybe that's the nature of the lens shutters, but that is silly for the price. Still giving it 5 stars because the image quality is stunning.
