    Snoppa Snoppa M1 reviews

M1 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal for Smartphones is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Organic control of your shooting I'm pretty happy in general with my Snoppa M1. It's a kind tricky at the beginning but as soon as you understand you can take pretty good videos. Tracking people or panning places is very organic and balanced because the extra weight that you can setup in the Snoppa M1. The only thing, I don't think is a good idea for iPhone 16gb because you can shot even 4k or a pretty beautiful 1920 at 60 frames but even if you delete all your apps the storage is nothing and because you are recording with Snoppa app you need as twice as free space in order to download your video to a PC for editing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good I've now had the Snoppa for 2 weeks and have been using it to take family videos and also running videos. I use a Google Pixel as my smartphone. The Snoppa does a great job stabilizing video when standing still and panning left/right and up/down and even omni-directional. When walking or running, it did great stabilizing the video when I first started using it, but lately I can detect "jitters" with each footfall. I've had to calibrate the Snoppa a few times using the app that you can download to get it to center correctly. The app itself is a work in progress. I prefer using my phone's camera app vs. the Snoppa app to record videos, although, it does look like the Snoppa app does a little more stabilization. You need the app though to do the calibrations and to also update the firmware of the Snoppa. Getting the device to pair with the app using bluetooth was not as straightforward as you would think. It took a few times. Maybe this is just the Android version of the app. Also since I am using a Google Pixel, I'm running Android 8, and the app may not be optimized for this version. Overall though, I've enjoyed using the Snoppa and it does stabilize my videos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great image stabilizer with a reasonable price! The fact that the iPhone is centered with the Snoppa makes it very easy to setup very quickly on the go, it literally takes less than 5 seconds to get it on working position - on the other gimbals it normally takes longer to get it in a balanced position, and one is tempted to almost leave the phone always mounted on the gimbal all the time (forgetting that the phone is also quite useful for other things... like making calls ;-) ) When folded, the Snoppa is very easy to throw in the backpack, and if only to keep the hands free for other things it can fit in the jeans pocket. The compromise of the previous two features is that because of this design, the Snoppa always needs to have a certain angle between the handle and the moving axis to work, so it doesn't for example work on a stand still vertical position, or with a simple tripod - it always needs a tripod with a rotating ball in order to achieve this operating angle. The video stabilizing is quite good, which was my primary goal when buying it. It doesn't have a zoom button, or a joystick to control the direction of filming, but the Omni tracking function with a bit of practice works very nicely to obtain the same result. The gimbals that have these features are twice the price though. The app could propose a slow motion feature, maybe this might come with the next firmware upgrade. The quality / price ratio is definitely very good, so I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made with love! You have to read the instructions carefully before using it. I loved the case. It's amazing how it works, really if it stabilizes the image. It is important to disable the phone's internal stabilizer function. I would give it 10 stars if possible in the qualification, this product was made by very intelligent people, it is a product with a lot of quality. You will love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for iOS, not Android This gimbal is really small and convenient, gives fine stabilizing.. but it doesn't work with my Android 8.0 - the app just freezes when trying to shoot video :( I really hope they will fix it in the nearest future (it's only the problem with application)
