will this display work with windows 10 and asus thunderbolt 3 pci card installed
Asked by: Gor
Since you will have no control of the brightness, sound, or camera via Windows 10, I would not do it even though it might connect. It will. But, it will use the last setting on brightness, usually, with no chance to change it. No drivers are available although early on someone created some, not LG, they quit working on subsequent updates from Microsoft. SM

will this monitor work with windows 10 and asus thunderbolt 3 pci card
Asked by: Gor
The LG 27MD5KB-B 27" UltraFine 16:9 5K IPS Monitor requires a Mac with Thunderbolt 3 and macOS 10.12.2 or later. If your system has Thunderbolt 2, you can use a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, but this will not support Power Delivery. This display will not work with USB Type-C host connectivity.

Why does this have a 10ms response time vs 5ms for the cheaper LG?
Asked by: Gabrielle H.
Many factors come into play when comparing monitors. First and foremost is resolution. It may not be a fair comparison if all capabilities are not taken into account.

Not sure. We purchased for MBP with touch bar. In theory, it should work if you have the latest OS and connect a USB-C to USB-A cable.
