With the 3504 Wireless Controller from Cisco, a network administrator can control and manage medium-sized enterprise-level networks in one central location.

This controller comes equipped with a total of four RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports. The first two GbE ports offer 1500 VAC rms isolation while the second two offer 802.3at PoE support. In addition to the four GbE ports, this controller also comes equipped with a single RJ45 CPU console port, a single 5 G/mGig port supporting 5G, 2.5G, and 1G speeds, and a single USB 3.0 port used to load images onto the controller. The 3504 Wireless Controller also features dual RJ45 ports used for redundancy and a single Mini-USB console port used to perform software updates.

Along with the vast amount of connectivity options made available in this small form factor wireless controller, Cisco has managed to provide a wide variety of network features to give administrators control over various aspects of the network. The wireless controller can be installed at different portions of the network as it supports centralized, distributed, and mesh deployments. Additionally, the controller features a simplified GUI to aide in the setup process as well as dashboards to manage and monitor numerous aspects of the network.
