Designed for the LulzBot TAZ 6, TAZ 5, and TAZ 4 3D Printers, the TAZ FlexyDually Tool Head v2 from LulzBot brings flexibility and strength to 3D-printed objects, as it allows flexible and rigid materials to be combined to create unique 3D prints and objects. Created for expert users, this tool head allows for the creation of living hinges, in-place gaskets and sealing surfaces, tires bonded to wheel hubs, wearables, and more.

Arriving fully assembled, this tool head can withstand temperatures of up to 572°F, uses 3mm filament, has a nozzle diameter of 0.6mm, and allows users to print using an ever-growing list of flexible specialty 3D printing filaments. Included is Wade's Accessible Extruder, the LulzBot TAZ Extruder, a midnight black ABS filament sample, a LulzBot Green NinjaFlex filament sample, a secondary filament guide tube, a secondary extruder harness, a 3D-printed secondary filament spool arm, a 10mm M5 screw and a drop-in T-nut for the secondary filament spool arm, an 8mm M5 buttonhead screw (to replace one control box mounting screw), a heatsink, nozzle fans, a 3D-printed T-nut jig, a glue stick, four aluminum bed holster plates, four M3 low-profile flathead screws, and seven zip ties.

Please be aware that this tool head may require replacing the existing tool head harness on your LulzBot TAZ.

General Features

The LulzBot TAZ FlexyDually Tool Head v2 features LulzBot's Hexagon Hot End. The hot end's all-metal construction raises the maximum extrusion temperature to 572°F, allowing you to print with even more types of specialty 3D printing filament.
Further upgrades include an aluminum extruder mounting plate.
NinjaFlex and SemiFlex 3D printing filaments by NinjaTek bring strength and flexibility to 3D printed parts. They bond well to ABS for complex, multi-material objects.
Using stiff, non-flexible filament with the green flexystruder is not advised, as it can lead to premature extruder body wear and purging difficulty when switching between materials.
This accessory is only for the LulzBot TAZ 6, TAZ 5, and TAZ 4.
