    HP G2 reviews

    Z24N G2 24" 16:9 IPS Monitor is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has a few quirks, but excellent I generally like HP monitors because they generally have features that work well for business and professional users. I got this for my computer at home since Im doing more work on it now. Its replacing a pair of consumer grade Samsung and NEC displays. My Linux computer uses DVI, and this has a DVI port, and my Mac uses DisplayPort, so I can use a DisplayPort cable without any adapters. The display is easy to adjust the height and tilt on, and the base has a nice looking, study metal column. As far as settings go, you can get it to turn off image scaling. I sometimes work with older computers that cannot output the full 1920 by 1200 resolution, and this way everything looks clear without any stretching. You also have Picture in Picture and night modes that make the display warmer for night use. You can also turn off the bezel power LED. The display is flicker free, and is very energy efficient. Viewing angles are excellent, and the bezels are nice and narrow for multihead setups. You get a factory calibration certificate in the box, and colours are great. It ships in Power Saver mode which disables all the USB ports. If you are connected to your computer using USB-C instead of Displayport or other connections, you need to switch it to Performance mode. USB-C power delivery is only 15 watts, so it is not a viable single cable solution like the LG UltraFine 4K and 5K.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough USB-C power Monitor only supplies 15w of power over USB-C, which is basically non-functional; returning it as it cannot charge my laptop.
