    Sony WH-1000XM2 reviews

1000XM2 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones (Gold) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Headphones I love the Sony 1000XM2 headphones. The sound is great and the noise cancellation is great. The app works well on my Axon 7 and improves the experience even more. The noisecancellation is at least on par with my Bose QC-25 and the sound is better. The Sony is not as comfortable as the Bose QC-25. The QC-25's cups are a little bigger and fit my ears better. Having said that, I can wear the Sony headphones for 4-6 hours without any discomfort. The Sony headphones do hold a little heat and the ears get a little worm after extended wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite simply the best If you want the best headphones these are them. They are comfortable , the noise canceling is outstanding and the battery life is insanely long and the sound quality is unbelievable. My Sony Xperia cell phone transmits my FLAC audio files to these headphones and the sound is so incredibly clear its hard to put into words. Bottom line these are expensive but well worth it if you value great headphones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 out of 5 Generally, good sound quality and noise cancelling. 1 point off just because it's kind of tight over my ear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Sound Quality, Slight Discomfort Pros: • The packaging was really nice and comes with pretty much everything you need except a bluetooth adapter for connecting to a device that does not have built-in bluetooth capabilities. • The touch features were interesting and easy to use. •Built in mic is handy • Sound quality is superb • Noise Canceling works well in drowning out all other surrounding sounds. •Ambient sound mode can be toggled to allow conversations • Lasts for a pretty long time on a single charge. • Well built; you can feel the quality and sturdiness Cons: • Ear cushions are very soft and comfy, but the overall headphones felt tight on my ears. I consider myself to have a small head. • Supporting mobile app is a bit odd. It claims to run some optimization program, but I did not notice any difference in quality. • Noise cancellation hurts my ears after approx 2~3 hours of use. Overall: Good buy for quality, but still very pricey. Would price it closer to $200-$250.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for flying Better than Bose QCII for noise canceling up into voice range. Bluetooth connectivity is good but switching is painful between sources.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why Are There Good Reviews For These? These headphones are mediocre and priced like they are amazing. They are not. You might be between Bose QC 25 or 35's. I have both and they blow these heavy, bulky, flat sound from these Sony's. Within 10 minutes of listening, my ears where ALREADY fatigued. I wear my Bose's for 8-10 hours a day. These don't come even close to the comfort. A TOTAL disappointment. The noise cancelling does not work. The ear piece sliding button thing is cool, but generally useless if anything comes near it. Sadly, the reviews here are completely wrong and probably influenced by Sony staff themselves. You should know that people with finely tuned hearing, people who make their livings listening to sounds and music with earphones should know better. If you were in a store and tried these blindly, side by side, you'd laugh at the huge difference and wonder why they are even said to be comparable. Just terrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noise Cancelling/Ambiance greatness The BEST pair of headphones I have purchased by a wide margin. Incredibly simple design, amazing comfort, wonderful volume control mechanics and a sound that is unrivaled with Bluetooth headphones today. You'll do yourself a dis-service looking elsewhere. Buy these, treat them well and never look back.
