question

At volumes is there music leakage to the outside world? I have this problem with my Beats Studio Wireless 2.0.
Asked by: Anonymous
There is very little sound leakage at high volume, as the headphones absorb and cover some noise. It's possible there could be some leakage, but not a lot.

question

Just purchased SonyWH1000XM2 wireless headphones. My intention is to use them with my Arcam integrated amplifier. I also have a Taotronics Bluetooth Transmitter & Receiver, Digital optical Toslink and 3m5mm Wireless audio adapter for TV/Home Stereo system. The only available way too use the Taotronics with my Arcam Integrated Amplifier is to plug it in to the headphone jack. Both the headphones and the TaoTronics are supposed to be A2DP 4.1 bluetooth. DESPITE THIS, THE SONY PHONES DO NOT WORK WITH THE TAOTRONICS TRANSMITTER. Taotronics tech support confirmed they have problems with Sony headphones. Tech support for the version manufactured by BESIGN WON T WORK EITHER (confirmed by their tech support). It seems MANY manufacturers have problems getting the WH100XM2 phones to work with their transmitters. What transmitter is compatible with the Sony WH1000XM2 headphones for my purposes?
Asked by: Ronald
This is a reliable transmitter: <a href= https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1218934-REG/meelectronics_af_t1_bk_mee_af_t1_dual_headphone_bluetooth_audio.html?sts=pi target= _blank >https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1218934-REG/meelectronics_af_t1_bk_mee_af_t1_dual_headphone_bluetooth_audio.html?sts=pi</a>

question

what's the difference between these headphones and the older version? why do they cost as much?
Asked by: Tristan Thor T.
Marketing.More specifically Sony claim they have better battery life, better sound and better acoustic isolation properties than the previous version. Again, probably marketing. The world moves forward in the world of technology, don't be blinded by fancy words spoken by company executives. Your old version is probably good enough. However, if I was in the market for some wireless bluetooth headphones, I'd be looking directly at the newest option.

question

Manual for Sony WH1000XM2 says not to use a USB hub to charge. Will a hub provide adequate charge?
Asked by: Ronald
Hi Ronald B, We recommend charging the unit directly to a computer. Charging will not be completed properly by an indirect connection, such as via a USB hub. Ralph

question

Are these compatible with older versions of Android? My LG cell LGL41C cell phone is running 4.4.2. As its a Tracfone I don't know if I can upgrade it.
Asked by: Ronald
The headphones are connecting via Bluetooth to your phone. As long as your phone's Bluetooth is working, you should be able to use the headphones. I don't know if the Sony Connect App will work.
