  • 1Description

With its 360° hinge design, the 13.3" Pavilion x360 13-u163nr Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Laptop from HP allows you to fold the 13.3" touchscreen a full 360°, allowing it to be used in stand, tablet, notebook, or tent mode. Working with a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5-7200U Dual-Core processor and 8GB of DDR4 memory, this notebook runs multiple programs simultaneously without experiencing slowdowns. For portability, it measures 0.78" thin and weighs 3.66 pounds. There's also a 1TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive that provides ample storage space for your videos, photos, documents, and other files.

The 13.3" WLED-backlit IPS screen displays colors accurately and features viewing angles of 178°, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an HD 1366 x 768 screen resolution, which is driven by the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 chipset. The Pavilion x360 can expand the onscreen workspace to your external monitor or TV through its HDMI port and also offers edge-to-edge touch support so you'll be able to utilize the multi-touch gestures incorporated into Windows 10 Home, allowing you to swipe, tap, and resize apps at your preference.

HP has outfitted the Pavilion x360 with two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A port so you can expand its capabilities with external storage drives and printers. There is also a multi-format SD media card reader for transferring digital content from your devices without using a cable. Accessing the Internet can be accomplished utilizing 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 technology allows additional compatible wireless peripherals, such as keyboards, headsets, and mice, to be paired with this system. Other notable features included with the HP Pavilion x360 are a 720p webcam with an 88° field of view, dual-array digital microphones, and dual speakers with B&O PLAY audio so you can engage in face-to-face conversations and create videos.

HP's 13.3" Pavilion x360 13-u163nr Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Laptop operates using a 3-cell / 41Wh lithium-ion prismatic battery that lasts for up to 9.25 hours before recharging is required and can recharge to 90% in around 90 minutes. Also included is a 45W AC adapter and a power cord.

HP Pavilion x360 Features

Intel Core i7 7th-Generation Kaby Lake Processor
This notebook houses a 7th-generation Kaby Lake Intel Core i5-7200U processor that comes with two cores, which have a stock speed of 2.5 GHz and can also achieve speeds up to 3.1 GHz, thanks to Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 7th-generation Kaby Lake processor uses low voltage to extend battery life without sacrificing performance. With a dedicated 3MB of L3 cache, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and Intel Hyper-Threading technology, you'll be able to push the two cores up to four virtual cores for quick and efficient multitasking.
360° Hinge
A 360° hinge allows the HP Pavilion x360 to be used in four versatile modes. Use stand mode to watch movies and video conference; tablet mode to surf the web and read; notebook mode to work; and tent mode to give presentations and share photos.
13.3" WLED IPS Edge-to-Edge Multi-Touch Display
The 13.3" edge-to-edge IPS touchscreen display of the HP Pavilion x360 features WLED backlighting, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 1366 x 768 screen resolution. You can also output video to an external display via the HDMI port.
USB 3.0 Type-A & USB 2.0 Type-A Connectivity
This system has a total of three USB ports, divided up as two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-A port. They can be used to connect additional storage, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, and more.
802.11ac Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 4.2
The HP Pavilion can connect to a home or public wireless network via 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Additional compatible peripherals, such as keyboards, mice, headsets, and more may be connected using Bluetooth 4.2 technology.

Windows 10 Home Features

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the Internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Laptop, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
