NEC 48" Touch Integrated Large-Screen Display
The 48" Touch Integrated Large-Screen Display from NEC features a 1920 x 1080 native resolution, up to a 440 cd/m² brightness rating, a 4000:1 static contrast ratio, and support for over 1.07 billion colors. With integrated IR Touch capabilities, it allows for smooth integration into any type of environment with up to 10 simultaneous points of contact. It is equipped with multiple ports including DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA for connecting a variety of video sources. For your convenience, the display has a microSD card slot and USB ports that support media playback, as well as LAN ports for longer connections. It includes expandability options such as the OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) and Raspberry Pi Compute Module slots for source integration directly into the display.

Boost the performance of your NEC large-format display to suit a variety of visual applications by embedding the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 into it. This open-platform module offers flexibility in creating customized display applications. Software providers and users can benefit from the wide range of open-source solutions available from the global Raspberry Pi developers' community. The NEC edition tops the standard Raspberry Pi's performance with 16GB of onboard memory and intelligent Digital Signage functionality. The Ethernet and USB interfaces of the display hosting the module allow for easy integration into a network, or connection to external devices such mice, keyboards, and touch screens.

The internal serial connection between the display and the Raspberry Pi Compute Module allows full control and monitoring of the display from the software running on the Compute Module. A Python-based SDK for easy software development is available separately.
