If you're on the go and don't want to be burdened with too much gear or a bulky bag, take advantage of this Everyday Sling from Peak Design. Made for your essential gear, it can hold a DSLR or mirrorless camera body with 2-3 lenses, a 13" laptop or tablet, and a tripod or monopod attached to the outside of the bag via the compression straps. Two touch-fastening FlexFold dividers can be positioned according to your contents for customizable configurations. An expandable external pocket allows for quick access to small, often used items like your smartphone, wallet, and keys. The main compartment has several slip pockets where you can store cords, spare batteries, and pens.

While this bag has been designed with the minimalist in mind, it can expand to hold from 8 up to 10 liters of gear. A dual-adjustment shoulder strap allows you to quickly swivel the bag in front of you for access thanks to its adjuster handle, while a smaller briefcase-style strap allows you to easily hold the bag at your side. Kodra material with a DWR weatherproof coating and weatherproof zippers keep your gear safe and dry if you're caught in inclement weather.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still considering I was so pleased with the 20L Everyday Backpack that I thought adding the Everyday Sling 10L would be a good option for those times when traveling that I only need to carry 2-3 lenses and a camera. Definitely, the sling accommodates that amount of gear my only surprise and slight disappointment is that when slung over my back, it didn't ride as comfortably as other sling packs that I have used. To be fair, I have not yet walked around all day with this pack and perhaps it just takes getting used to. The strap adjustments make for quick altering as to different ways for wearing the pack. Ease of equipment access is very good so it all comes down to experiencing its full time use and how I adapt to its feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great small bag, a but snug for tablet or laptop I really love this bag. It is a little snug for the gear I carried, but it worked and I appreciate the small size. I used it for CES and carried a 60D with attached Sigma 18-35 f1.8, g-series compact, spare cards, chargers, reader, iPad Air, and Belkin keyboard. With a PD slide strap attached to the tripod thread, it made it difficult to get the iPad in and out with the case and keyboard, but not impossible. A smaller mirrorless would have had no issues. While the bag does not have a place for a water bottle, I was able to get a Swell bottle held by the compression straps in lieu of a tripod. They were tight enough that even walking around all day and through an airport the bottle never became dislodged. The fit and finish on the bag is also second to none - highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing travel bag solution This bag is fantastic, and a must have for travelers, comfortable, versatile, and weather resistant. It also looks good. I am carrying a fuji XT-2, four lenses, a 13 laptop, a Fuji x100F, a mini Gitzo tripod, and misc. stuff i.e. batteries, cards, and chords etc., It is an extremely well thought out bag, and very easy to access the stuff when needed, and return to shooting. The only thing I will mention is that the strap will slip over time, but not a huge deal, just tighten them back up when you notice the fit getting to loose. . . this happens when I am going back and forth in to the bag continuously and it is understandable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well balanced This bag is well balanced in every regard. It rides nicely on my back - has just the right amount of inside storage to take what I need + some extras - swings around nicely for access - flexible compartments for customizing for equipment depending on what I'm shooting. Double locks the zipper for a more secure feeling on urban shoots. Hardy and good looking and doesn't scream I'm a camera bag. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and design is second to none. I purchased a Peak Design Messenger bag several months ago and became a huge fan of this company's design and quality. For an upcoming trip abroad I needed something smaller and compact for my mirrorless camera setup and opted for the sling. I couldn't be happier. Loaded up with all the essentials my bag tips the scale under 9lbs. And fits nicely inside my carry on bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag I have always used a messenger bag. I bought this sling because I noticed that I kept pushing the messenger bag behind me. A sling turned out to be just the thing. There is room for my Fuji xt2 with 2 or 3 lenses. The bag is very well made and stays put on my back. I really like that there is an additional handle besides the sling. Best camera bag I've ever used.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Sling Bag to date, but not without flaws I've owned a number of sling bags over the years and none were all amazing, until I got my hands on this PD 10L bag. What I use it for: - Short day trips (trip to a winery, city museum run, playground with my kid, etc.) - Anywhere I go where I carry minimal gear and have lots of stops, possibly driving or taking public transportation What I carry in the main compartment, sectioned off by the dividers: - Usually just 1 camera (A7Riii) / 1 lens (24-105 F4 zoom) or / 2 primes (Batis - any combination of 18/25/85) - Bottle of water + snack bar - Strap, RRs mini tripod, Strap What I carry in the pockets (only if the day calls for it): - Spare battery, ND filter(s), extra memory cards - iPad - inside the main compartment, behind the sleeve - iPhone/wallet in front zipped pocket THE GOOD: - Bag holds shape - finally! This one's a biggie - the bag holds its shape and even with awkward items inside it doesn't deform - Pivoting strap is excellent and contours to your body - Materials, build quality is top notch - Fancy dividers are just right for such a bag, very well designed and offer flexible storing options - Relatively lightweight and not too bulky - More stylish and low profile than any other bag on the market THE NOT SO GOOD: - Biggest gripe - just one zipper lock on main compartment... There absolutely needs to be two! When you are on the go and have your hands tied up holding a camera, having to fiddle with a pretty tight zipper is super annoying. Problem would be much alleviated if there was a lock on both sides of the zipper. One hand zipping right now is nearly impossible, again, due to how tight the zipper is and having to hold the bag with the other hand to pull the single lock. - Shoulder strap could use more padding. I'm a relatively big guy - 6'2"/215, athletic build, and my shoulder aches after a day's worth of wearing the bag. Another 3-4mm of padding would go a long way. Also, the rest of the strap could be a bit wider too for added comfort. - There should've been retainer straps included. If you carry a few prime lenses, especially if you store them at the top of the bag, you will want to secure them in place so they don't fly out when you unzip the bag and take some other item out. I've had a few 5" stretchy straps with velcro at each end from my other bags (F-Stop gear) that work perfectly and IMO are absolutely a must add-on to this bag, especially when you're on the go and dig into your bag while walking or otherwise in motion. In short - I highly recommend this bag for minimal gear carry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bag, but not perfect ! I have been using it for 2 months. Overall, the design is very smart and handy. But in the process of using I find there are still some cons: -Strap width is slightly small and thin. -In the ash color, the sides of the bag are very susceptible to staining, and the stains are slightly harder to wash. -On the inside of the bag, the elastic material is very good, but it is extremely susceptible to being stained, just touching it with your hand will save it. -There is no padding at the bottom of the bag. -The bag does not stand upright, and there is no bottom protection for the bag. -No waterproof cover attached. Although the bag is self-waterproof, when traveling in a muddy environment no one wants their bags dirty. -The contact part of the bag with my back was very hot. Even in normal weather. -The leather zipper seems unstable. -The edge of the Devider can easily get rough. -I wish I could have more side pockets to carry accessories. That's all you're not satisfied to this point. Overall this is a very good, sturdy, and handy bag, I'm still using it every day to go to work. Looking forward to the next version will overcome the above problems to become better.
