The ASUS TUF Z370-Plus Gaming LGA1151 ATX Motherboard lets you build an 8th-generation Intel Core desktop system by offering an Intel Z370 chipset and an LGA1151 socket. The TUF Z370-Plus Gaming motherboard provides two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, so you create a gaming system that runs on two graphics cards linked with AMD CrossFireX technology. Four DIMM slots are available for accommodating up to 64GB of DDR4 memory modules. For storage, the motherboard comes armed with six SATA connectors and two M.2 slots, which support SATA- and PCIe-based SSDs. There's also onboard LEDs on the motherboard to illuminate the insides of your case.

To access external peripherals, ASUS has outfitted this motherboard with three USB 3.0, two USB 3.1, and two USB 2.0 ports. One of the USB 3.0 ports features a USB Type-C design, while the USB 3.1 ports offer 10 Gb/s speeds. Additional connections can be added to the system by installing PCIe cards to the motherboard's four PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. If you choose a non-gaming build, the motherboard can utilize the processor's integrated graphics chipset to deliver 4K visuals via the motherboard's DVI-D and HDMI outputs. Other notable features include one PS/2 port and Gigabit Ethernet along with three audio jacks, powered by a Realtek ALC887 audio processor.

Intel Z370 Chipset
The Intel Z370 is a single-chipset design that supports 8th-generation Intel Core LGA1151 processors. It provides improved performance by utilizing serial point-to-point links, allowing increased bandwidth and stability. Additionally, the Z370 provides a maximum of ten USB 3.0 ports, six SATA 6 Gbps ports, and 32 Gbps M.2 and PCIe 3.0 lane speed support, for faster data retrieval. Intel Z370 also supports integrated-graphics.
LGA1151 Core Processors
This motherboard supports 8th Generation Intel Core processors in the LGA1151 package. With integrated graphics, memory, and PCI Express controllers, it supports onboard graphics output with dedicated chipsets, dual-channel (4-DIMM) DDR4 memory, and 16 PCI Express 3.0/2.0 lanes.
Gaming Audio
DTS Custom onboard audio uses emulation techniques to create positional cues via stereo headphones. With Aerial, Soundscape, and Tactical presets designed for different genres, you'll have a distinct advantage while gaming. Aerial mode produces audio as though hovering above the game world, making it suitable for MOBA, RTA, strategy, and sports titles. Soundscape puts you in the center of the action for MMO, RPG, action, and horror games. To detect and locate footsteps, Tactical mode emphasizes detailed sounds. In addition, this motherboard comes with an audio cover and audio shielding as well as dedicated channel layouts and audio capacitors, which produce a warm and natural sounds
ASUS Aura offers full RGB lighting control with a variety of functional presets for the built-in RGB LEDs and optional RGB strips connected to the onboard RGB headers. It provides Static, Breathing, Strobing, Rainbow, Color Cycle, Comet, Flash & Dash, Wave, Glowing Yo-Yo, Starry Night, Music, and CPU temperature effects.
ASUS OptiMem
ASUS OptiMem preserves the memory signal integrity by routing memory traces to the PCB layer. This T-Topology layout ensures time-aligned signaling by balancing trace lengths between memory slots. This provides more overclocking headroom and improved stability, allowing DDR4 memory speeds of 4000 MHz with all slots populated.
