The Contour Design Unimouse connects to a computer wirelessly and has four adjustable features that enable you to use it like a typical mouse or in a vertical handshake position. The palm section of the Unimouse can tilt from 35 to 70 degrees to create a comfortable mousing experience. Your thumb is also supported after the adjustment process with a thumb rest, which can pivot 35 degress in either direction as well as slide in or out and forward or backward.

The Unimouse is equipped with an optical IR sensor that can be set between 800 and 2800 dpi, so you can customize the speed of a cursor. For issuing commands, six programmable buttons are on board along with a scroll wheel and a seventh button, which lets you quickly select the dpi. The mouse is powered by an internal rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery that provides up to 3 months of use on a single charge time of 2 hours. Aside from the battery, the Unimouse utilizes 2.4 GHz technology to provide a wireless range of up to 25' from a system.

35-Degress of Adjustability
An articulating hinge allows you to adjust the angle of body tilt anywhere from 35 to 70 degrees. It features a friction-based system for an experience that is simple, yet stable in different positions.
Articulating Thumb Support
The ATS (Articulating Thumb Support) eliminates gripping and pinching of the CMC (basal) joint and helps to reduce RSI. The tri-axis thumb rest allows you to relax your grip by accommodating different sized hand widths and shapes.
Precision
With a Pixart (PMW3330) sensor, the mouse provides performance on nearly any surface, while ten cursor-speed selections let you work at your own pace.
Power
An internal lithium-ion polymer battery provides up to three months of power on a single charge, and an included data+charge cable will allow you to recharge the mouse while you work. With a Smart Sleep battery system, the mouse can hibernate when not in use.
Controls
The Unimouse comes with six programmable buttons along with a scroll wheel to provide you with more controls than a standard 2-button mouse.

Yes. You can use the Contour Design Unimouse Wireless Mouses included charging cable as it charges. So it could be a wired option.
