Handcrafted in the USA by skilled technicians, the carbon burst Peavey Cargo Acoustic/Electric Guitar by Composite Acoustics is a travel-size acoustic/electric guitar with the sound and feel of a full-size instrument. The guitar is totally built from proprietary, composite materials, and finely appointed with a reinforced polymer fingerboard and precise tuning machines. Impervious to the climate for consistent performance, it provides a sound that projects with tonal clarity and chiming sustain. It is comfortable to play wherever you go, from the great outdoors to your favorite armchair.
The Cargo features a rigid, one-piece neck/body construction for long-term stability. The carbon fiber neck is equipped with 21, medium, stainless-steel frets, top dots, and side dots. Breaking from tradition, the soundhole is offset to the top of the soundboard, to better project the sound to the player. An undersaddle L.R. Baggs Active Element pickup system captures the movement of the soundboard and creates an intimate coupling between the pickup and guitar for the highest fidelity possible. Included is a Composite Acoustics gig bag.
