Tight fit on all parts of the lens

Nice fitting parts to the lens, although on the tight side. I don't use the one that fits on the extended zoom . Also there is no holes for the focus lock buttons so I leave that part off too. Very nice look and it really protects the lens from scrapes. It breaks up the look well.

Does the job but difficult to flip lens hood into position for storage with the cover in place on the hood. These will protect the lens from unwanted scratches to maintain there new appearance. However, these lens covers need to be made from a much thinner material to not to interfere with function of storage.

These are great. Some camo and solid protection when hiking and brushing against branches or rocks. A little pricey for some pieces of fabric but will maintain resale value of gear so I use it for all of my wildlife lenses.

I have the lensCoat coverings for my Sony 200 - 600 and thought that it was good enough that I would put one on my Sony 100 - 400. But sadly the version for the 100 - 400 does not fit well, there are major gaps and get this.... in order to cover the barrel when zoomed in you have to install a semi-permanent piece that came with the set and is attached with velcro. This means that the 100 - 400 lens is now a static 400 mm lens and cannot be adjusted without taking off this piece in the field... and exposing the glaring white lens. This product simply is not engineered well for this lens and really should not even be offered in my view. By the way out of four lens and many other products that I recently purchased along with my new Sony A7R IV this is the only product that I believe I made a mistake in purchasing.

Not much material for the cost, but it fits and functions perfectly. The test will be time. For now( a month old) I'm loving it.

Just not worth it. I sent mine back mainly because the piece that sticks onto the tripod mount ring was sticky gross. I got it on my hands and it wouldn't come off with rubbing alcohol but Goo Gone got it off. When I took the piece off my 'spensive lens had to thoroughly clean with Goo Gone which I did not appreciate. Also, the implementation of the piece that goes on the extended barrel is a bit lame, always having to keep the lens at 400mm, but honestly do not know how else Lenscoat could have done this any differently. I have had these in the past for other lenses and have appreciated their protection but this one, and it's sticky residue, not so much.
