Enjoy balanced stereo sound from this pair of satin white ELAC Uni-Fi BS U5 Slim 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers. They feature a 3-way design with a 1" soft-dome concentrically mounted tweeter, a 4" aluminum cone midrange, and a 5.25" aluminum cone woofer. The speakers accept 40 to 140W of power from your amplifier and have a 46 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response.

Concentric Driver
Positioning the 1" soft-dome tweeter concentrically within the 4" aluminum midrange voice coil helps achieves a uniform directivity pattern for flat frequency response, enhanced power handling, and augmented imaging for both on- and off-axis listening positions.
Three-Way Design
The three-way design assigns dedicated drivers to high, midrange, and bass frequencies, allowing each to be optimized for the frequency range for which its design and material composition have been engineered. At the same time, a three-way speaker complement allows for a more straightforward crossover and cabinet design.
MDF Cabinet
With its MDF outer walls, each BS U5 has been engineered to maintain the same internal volume, resulting in sonic characteristics virtually indistinguishable from the originals. The cabinets incorporate internal bracing to add stiffness and strength to the cabinet's outer walls. This bracing is designed to reduce cabinet vibration, which causes unwanted coloration to the sound.
Three-Way Crossover
The three-way crossover is designed to provide seamless transition between the drivers.
Aluminum Woofer
Through the use of aluminum, resonances that affect the linearity of paper cones can be placed beyond the driver's operating frequency range. A magnet with a vented pole piece helps increase power handling to help in the accurate reproduction of bass frequencies that are clean and clear.
Flexible Connectivity
The binding post terminals provide flexibility of speaker wire connections and help ensure optimal electron transfer from speaker cables to the speaker itself.
Magnetically Attached Fabric Grilles
When the protective grille is removed, magnets hidden beneath the surface of the cabinet keep the front panel free of attachment holes for a clean appearance.
