Enjoy dynamic sound from your amplifier with the white ELAC Uni-Fi Slim FS U5 Floorstanding Speaker. It features a three-way design with a 1" soft-dome tweeter concentrically mounted to a 4" aluminum cone midrange, plus three 5.25" aluminum cone woofers. It accepts 40 to 140W of power from your amplifier and produces a 42 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response. The cabinet is made from MDF and features three rear-firing ports for enhanced low frequency effects.

Concentric Tweeter and Midrange
Positioning the 1" soft-dome tweeter and aluminum 4" midrange cone concentrically helps achieve a uniform directivity pattern for flat frequency response and enhanced imaging for both on- and off-axis listening positions.
Balanced Three-Way Design
By assigning dedicated drivers to high, midrange, and bass frequencies, each is optimized for the frequency range for which its design and composition is engineered.
Braced MDF Cabinet
The internal bracing is designed to add stiffness and strength to the cabinet's MDF outer walls, helping to reduce cabinet vibration that causes unwanted coloration.
Three-Way Crossover
The three-way crossover is designed to ensure smooth transition between the drivers.
Aluminum Woofers
With aluminum, resonances that affect the linearity of paper cones can be placed beyond the driver's operating frequency range. An extended-size magnet with a vented pole piece is designed to increase power handling for accurate reproduction of bass frequencies that are clean and clear.
Outrigger Base Design
The outrigger base design for the Uni-Fi FS U5 Slim provides a larger, more stable footprint and allows for enhanced coupling of the speaker cabinet to the floor. Molded knobs dial-in precise leveling of the four corners, which are supplied with metal spikes and spike stands, used according to whether the loudspeaker is placed on a soft or hard floor surface.
Magnetically Attached Grille
When the protective grille is removed, hidden magnets beneath the surface of the cabinet keep the front panel free of attachment holes for a clean appearance.
