FWZV475F DVD Recorder/VCR Combo (Refurbished) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for transferring VHS to DVD Bought this for the sole purpose of transferring old family VHS tapes to DVD. It worked very well and smooth but not without a few glitches. First, it was very particular in what type of DVD it would write to. The platinum type recommended by B&H worked flawlessly. It would not read other brands to write to. The HD cable to TV (and I have a good one) did not produce a good picture but the HDMI cable did. Some of my tapes were 25 years old so the quality was 25 year old quality and you should not expect 4K end results from this transfer. With that said, the player was able to enhance the quality to a better than the original level which made me happy. Overall it was a cost saving way to recover your old family VHS tapes for the future.
