Dimming is equally convenient via another knob that adjusts the light intensity from 100-0% with negligible color shift. One of the light's enhancements is Multi-Light Control Capability whereby you can make color and dimming adjustments to a single master light and other lights in a group will follow suit. We use these in two kits and they work great despite being used on location around the country.

These are nice LED lights that can be adjusted but the output power isn't very impressive. These light would work as fill lights but not a primary source of light.

It is a brilliant lighting solution. Only problem left was to get an Angler Softbox from B&H with accompanying grid. Perfect now.

Love it!

Major Design Flaw

The quality of the light isn’t bad. Brightness is what you’d expect for this size light. My major complaint is the bar doors. First, the way the yolk is design, you can’t tilt the light when the barn doors are installed. They get in the way. I reached out to Dracast support and they told me to buy a $20 rotating adaptor. I own Arri, Kino, Ikan and Lowell lights and I’ve never seen a light that’s this difficult to aim with barn doors. Second flaw, the barn doors don’t touch each other, so light spill is an issue. Again, decent light at an ok price as long as you know the limitations when using the barn doors.

Lights are GREAT!... Flimsy stands

These lights are perfect for my small-time docu-style shooting. However, the stands they come with are garbage. They are flimsy and not sturdy. I had to get separate stands.

Not as good as the same model made in 2018

I bought one in 2018. It was excellent: high quality parts etc. The one I just bought in 2020 was inferior. The materials were much cheaper, some of the pieces did not fit well, and overall it was significantly inferior. It's still a good unit, but I am disappointed about the decline in quality.

Fantastic!!
