Dracast S-Series Plus Daylight LED500 Panel with V-Mount Battery Plate

Featuring a slim and lightweight design, the S-Series Plus Daylight LED500 Panel with V-Mount Battery Plate from Dracast is an ideal choice for location work, interviews and small sets where color accuracy, control and flicker-free output are of major importance. The panel has a solid color temperature of 5600K, making it a good choice for shooting outdoors or matching other daylight fixtures. The panel maintains a CRI of 96 indicating a precise rendering of color. The panel is 100-0% dimmable with negligible color shift. One of the light's enhancements is wireless Multi-Light Control Capability whereby you can make color and dimming adjustments to a single master light and other lights in a group will follow suit. The (LED) also has both color and light intensity presets to make it easy to return to previously used settings. The low electrical draw of just 29W means a timely return on your investment.

The durable aluminum frame is supported by a sturdy, U-shaped yoke with locking knobs on each side and a standard 5/8" receiver. The LED500 can be used worldwide, powered by the included 100-240 VAC adapter or by optional V-mount batteries. A carry case is included.

Do the lights in this kit with the barn doors support Dracast's gel CTO filters? Or do I also need to buy the filter frame?
Asked by: Eric
They are not compatible with the Dracast CTO inserts we have. You can use Rosco gel and tape it to the barndoors https://bhpho.to/2KR1yMz.

I bought these lights (daylight) with NP-F battery plates. Its seems that both battery slots need to have a battery installed to operate in battery mode. Is this the case with the updated lights?

Yes. You will need two NPF batteries to run the light. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]

question

Does the receiver work with a remote.
Asked by: Logan B.
There is no remote control for these lights. You can control two or more lights by using one light as a master light, and slaving all of the other lights to that one light. In other words, you can control the lights remotely, but not with an actual remote control. // Also, if there are any other technical or product related questions, feel free to contact us directly at any time at [email protected]
