In reading the reviews some people complain about having problems connecting with their iphones either with no blue tooth or latest updates. I have an older iphone 7....will this work and is there really no bluetooth connectivity??

Yes, it does, fun fact x100v actually works with the older models as well (sp1 and sp2). I tried them all, works great. Just enter the SSID and printer password in the camera menu and you can print pic directly from it with no problem.
