    Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is Managable :) Listing says unmanaged (incorrectly) since this is the EMX version which supports VLANs, 802.1q and so. If you're in the look for a budget 10Gbps uplink, this is your stop. I bought two of these and trunk a 10G link between them with multiple 1Gbps devices attached to each end. Performance has been great so far and VLANs configuration works as expected (After a bit reading and investigation on how to configure and tag them). I don't have any 10G device to test the throughput but I had 5 1Gbps on each end benchmarking the network at the same time and all of them were able to saturate their 1Gbps link, so It is working as it should, even while trunking and tagging. Definitely a very robust device for the Small-Office or Enthusiast Home environment. Beware that this device gets warm/slightly hot very quickly. So I would encourage mounting it on a rack or wall (hardware provided for both) on a well ventilated environment for better operation.
