Windows 10 Home

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.

    Lenovo IdeaPad 710S Plus reviews

    13.3" IdeaPad 710S Plus-13 Notebook is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact and light It very much does what is expected of a laptop. Just three things that I was not expecting. 1. Power button is part of the keyboard. It is topmost button on right side. 2. I don't know why can't all companies use the same power jack ? This is different than my previous Lenovo. It does come with its own power cable, but I will have to buy a new one for travel. 3. Right shift button is rightmost second row of keys. It used to be PgUp and down keys. With a little practice, these issues won't bother me much. It is just a little inconvenience for time being.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good laptop except for the keyboard I like the laptop except for one thing. I don't know who placed the shift key on the right side but whoever did it does not know how to type. Really Really hard to type on when you have been using a standard keyboard all you life and all of a sudden you have to learn to type using this keyboard. Other than that it is a good laptop

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed I absolutely love this computer. The Touch ID is super nice. It loads fast and is pretty easy to use. The touch screen is a plus too. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants a nice computer that will last a while. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly lightweight The most impressive feature of the laptop is it's weight. At 1.1 kg for this configuration it's the lightest I could find on the market. Apart from that, you get a good build quality (metal outer casing), great screen and decent battery life. Only the touchpad has disappointed me, as it feel a bit awkward to use and not very responsive at times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lenovo 710S Plus, a powerful ultrabook powerful and light weight!!! This laptop combines the ultrabook and performance laptop theories together. I can use autocad on this laptop. The disadvantage for this Lenovo710S Plus is about battery. this laptop can be used inly 4-5 hour which is less than competitors' in this class. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing machine For a machine of this size, there are no better specs. Great machine, especially now that they added Linux support! 10 stars! Only 4 stars for performance because technically it could be better, but for this form factor this is about the best you can do. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wrong position of Shift key at the right side what u have done with a shift key at the right side? why not make the "PgUp" to the last instead of shift. And the power on/off close to "Delete" umm . this is mess up the people who used to touch typing ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and light powerhorse Great small and light laptop with screen suitable for photo and video editing and enough power for that. Get it with the 512 GB SSD and you can forget about external HHDs.
