Lenovo ThinkCentre M910z overview

  • 1Description

The 21.5" ThinkCentre M910z All-in-One Desktop Computer from Lenovo provides a 23.8" display and an integrated computer system that sports a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5-7500 Quad-Core processor and 8GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 memory to deliver performance for your daily tasks. The M910z comes with a larger display than the M810z version, so you can better enjoy videos and photos. For storage options, the ThinkCentre M910z AIO comes equipped with a 256GB Opal PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, a SuperMulti DVD burner, and a 9-in-1 card reader. The preinstalled operating system on the hard drive is Windows 10 Pro.

Lenovo has armed this ThinkCentre M910z with a 23.8" TFT display that has wide viewing angles as well as a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is powered by an Intel HD Graphics 630 chipset. You can extend the onscreen workspace by connecting an optional monitor to the AIO's DisplayPort. Moreover, this same port can accept video input signals, allowing you to use the 23.8" display as an external monitor for your notebook. Aside from visuals, accessing the network and internet can be accomplished wirelessly or wired with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet on board. Once connected online, you can conduct face-to-face conversation by utilizing the AIO's built-in 1080p webcam, microphone, and pair of 3W speakers. The webcam also sports a physical switch that covers the lens when not in use. Other notable features include six USB 3.0 Type-A ports, as well as a combo audio jack and Bluetooth 4.1. Included along with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M910z AIO computer are a wired keyboard and mouse, so you can start working right away.

The ThinkCentre M910z AIO desktop computer is Enterprise-ready and is well-suited for users who work long hours by coming with features that help with productivity. The 23.8" display is armed an anti-glare finish and a low blue light mode to help reduce eye strain. With a MIL-STD-810G certification, the ThinkCentre M910z is designed to function in less-than-desirable environments. Moreover, Lenovo has outfitted this ThinkCentre M910z AIO computer with an UltraFlex II stand that provides greater versatility than a basic stand. The UltraFlex II offers tilt adjustments of -5° (forward) and 61° (back), swivel rotations between -45 and 45°, and height adjustments of up to 4.3" (110mm).

ThinkCentre M910z Features

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M910z AIO is powered by an Intel Core i5-7500 processor that sports four cores, which feature a stock speed of 3.4 GHz and can achieve speeds of up to 3.8 GHz while running demanding apps. The 7th-generation processor also comes with 6MB of cache memory and supports Intel Optane Memory technology, allowing the system to deliver SSD-like performance by installing an optional Optane M.2 drive into the second M.2 slot. There is also an empty 2.5" drive bay.
With Intel vPro, you can remotely access a fleet of systems to cut down management costs.
Put through a range of military-spec tests and over 200 reliability tests in everything from tropical climates to rough transportation conditions, the ThinkCentre AIO can virtually handle any environment.
Smart USB Protection prevents data from being transferred from USB ports while still allowing you to connect peripheral devices, so your data stays confidential. Additionally, you can lock the built-in privacy camera with the flick of a switch for privacy.
The back cover and stand can be removed without the need for tools, so you can make repairs or upgrades to the drive or memory.

Windows 10 Pro Features

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it's not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.
Xbox on Windows 10
Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
Windows 10 Pro
The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.
