Plantronics Voyager 3200 Overview

  • 1Description

Designed with comfort in mind, the Voyager 3200 UC Discreet Bluetooth Headset System from Plantronics comes with three sizes of silicone eartips for maximum comfort.

To answer a call, simply pick up the Voyager 3200 UC headset, and the built-in smart sensors automatically sense the movement and directs the audio where it needs to go. While on the call, three built-in microphones provide enhanced noise cancellation so the person on the other end hears you and only you. A dedicated mute button lets you place the call on mute and the headset even tells you it's still muted if you begin talking again before unmuting the call.

This Plantronics headset comes with Plantronics Hub software, putting a variety of intuitive features at your fingertips including the ability to locate a lost headset, change languages, and more. You can even use this software on your computer to view the headset's battery meter, update firmware, personalize settings, and more.

When away from the office, the included portable charge case included with the Voyager 3200 UC provides up to 10 hours of additional talk time.

    Plantronics Voyager 3200 Reviews

Voyager 3200 UC Discreet Bluetooth Headset System is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything! Love it! I got this as a hands free device for driving. But found out it connects to my office desk phone no problem. So now I can wear it and answer either my office deck phone or my cell phone! I can also listen to music or podcasts playing on my phone. When the phone rings there is a voice that asks "Answer" or "Reject". Say what you want it and done. The portable charger is great. I leave it plugged into my car so it creates a nice cradle for storing the ear piece if I want to leave in my car. No problem hearing and no complaints of background noise when I'm using it. I highly recommend! Very happy! I may even get one for my wife!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing functionality, clarity, & ease of use! The V3200UC actually wowed me, this isn't a BT earpiece you've tried before I promise you that. The V3200UC is convenient you don't have to keep it in your ear, simply pull it outward lift it up to your ear and you are speaking; (I can tell you it is possible to do this with gloves on) if it's already in your ear you have the option to say answer or ignore I love this feature, being on call 24hours a day like I am the Voyager 3200 UC is a friend to my family, my ears, and my serenity it will be yours as well. The belt loop construction could use a small bit of work I did nearly have it fall off twice in the first couple of days before it was more broke in so be aware. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beautifully made piece of kit The 3200 UC is a very well-made little headset. It is so light and well-designed that my concerns about a secure fit were quickly dispelled. (I am used to a loop going over my ear). Supremely easy to use and featuring crystal-clear audio, it is a very useful addition to my daily kit list. The only issue I have found is that the microphone stem can occasionally touch my cheek, causing noise. Takes just a moment to adjust it away from my face, however. I find it very helpful to know how much charge is left from the LED's on the charging case. Very useful to be able to charge the device directly as well. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plantronics Voyager 3200 UC As soon as I received this I had to try out with my Skype meetings. It is really a nice earpiece as I wouldn’t call it a headset. The volume is pretty good and have not had any issues. I wouldn’t listen to music on these as they aren’t meant for that. I’ve had this for a week and probably used it for at least 10 meetings and haven’t charged it since my initial charge. I like the charging case which provides extra power. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the fit of this earpiece in my ear. It did come with 3 different size earbuds but none of them fit my ear perfectly. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Device I've used this for about a week now and I am very satisfied with it. The sound quality is really good, the sensors work well. This will be my backup headset going forward. I love the charging base. I keep it in the base when not in use. It charges quickly and has a surprisingly long battery life due to the size of the device. The only down side I've found is the voice activation (Answer/Ignore) isn't consistent. I'm hoping there will be a Firmware Update to fix this but outside of that issue it works very well. I think I'm going to pick one up for my wife to use also. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Headset I got the Voyager 3200 UC several weeks ago after extensive research online. There were multiple favorable reviews of this headset and its predecessor, the Voyager Edge. On phone calls, people at the other end describe the sound quality as excellent. On my end, I would describe it as good. I thought my old non-Plantronics Bluetooth headset had good sound in both directions, but in a back-and-forth test on a phone call, the person at the other end and I both found the 3200 UC sounded much better. It works very well with Google Assistant on my Android smartphone. This makes it useful for such things as hands-free walking directions. It also works very well with Dragon on my PC, comparably to the wired headsets I’ve been using for years. Noise cancellation for outbound sound is very good. The headset snaps into the carrying case, which charges the headset. The small case easily fits into a pocket, and being much larger than the very small headset, makes it easier to retrieve from my pocket. The Android app shows connectivity and remaining talk time on a pull down alert; this also shows up in the app and in the PC software. Comfort is good, with a bit of noticeable pressure. For long use, I alternate ears. An eartip tore when I removed it and put it back on the headset to try different sizes, but it still is usable. Eartips are not covered by the warranty but are inexpensive; I ordered more. To summarize, this is a well-designed, well-functioning Bluetooth headset, and I’m happy with my purchase. It’s a major upgrade from my old headset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best-sounding Bluetooth on the market! My common issue in the past 10+ years with using Bluetooth earpieces is that I'm always told I sound far away or "in a tunnel", no matter which I buy. Being a long-time Plantronics customer, and seeing the reviews online for the Voyager 3200 UC, I decided to take the plunge and try it (I was already sold on the fact it has a charging carrying case, and able to use it with my laptop via USB for VoIP, so I didn't need that much convincing). I made my usual flurry of calls whenever I buy a Bluetooth, and ask my friends / colleagues "how do I sound?". To my surprise, no one knew I was using a Bluetooth, and didn't believe when I told I them I was! I am in love. I'm probably never going to buy another earpiece again. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad sound on both ends I ordered a similar plantronics headset roughly two years ago, and had the same experience. Because everybody else loved it, I figured it'd be my phone. Now I have a new phone and Loved the fit and the functionality of it, so I gave it a try again. The same problems occured: 1. My conversation partners feel I'm a little distant. They understand me OK but recognize it's a headset. 2. I hear all high frequency noises like breathing, surrounding noises etc. very very loud. I compared directly to my old headset (on the same call) and incoming and outgoing sound was so much better. I compared directly the sound of my conversation partner drawing on his e-cigarette which sounded hardly like taking a breath on the old headset, but like operating a 19th century train engine on the Voyager. My conversation partner gave me the feedback that on the old one, I sounded like I'm regularly on the phone with him, with the Voyager I sound like I'm playing World of Warcraft, or make announcements in an airplane cabin. I moved it forth and back, tried all positions, but it didn't change. Other than that, I love the functions, the comfort (although it takes a while until you can figure out how it doesn't touch ones cheek), the charger, the connectivity, ... but that's worth nothing if the sound is bad. Nobody else experience this? I will need to return the product.
