Expand the reach of your existing network using the airCube Wireless-AC1167 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point from Ubiquiti Networks. This Wi-Fi access point is simple to install, thanks to support for Power over Ethernet while the UMobile app, Web UI, and UNMS applications make it easy to configure and manage your entire network.

Once installed, this Wi-Fi access point supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supporting wireless data transfer rates of up to 1167 Mbps. If that's not enough, clients can plug Ethernet-enabled devices in to any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports for a more reliable wired network connection. The airCube is powered by a 24V Passive PoE connection or plug in the included power adapter when PoE power is unavailable.

Wireless Performance
Dual-band, 802.11ac, 2x2 MIMO technology for maximum wireless performance:
• 2.4 GHz radio band speeds of up to 300 Mbps

    Ubiquiti Networks airCube reviews

    airCube Wireless-AC1167 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This will eventually be a great option... From a physical standpoint, this device is fantastic; small, beautiful, and providing exceptional range, with the potential to be used as a a small router or a POE-powered WAP, and a development roadmap that promises to expand the router and VLAN options.  However, as of November 2018, the firmware has serious problems (resulting in dropped WiFi clients) that make these not-yet-ready-for-production deployment.  The team at Ubiquiti is actively working the issue(s), and communicating with their user group(s), so there seems no reason why they wont be able to solve the existing problems through firmware updates, but this product cannot reliably be put into service until those firmware problems are resolved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacking features This AP router is ultra basic. If your looking for a VERY basic WiFi router this likely will serve you well. I picked up one of these when they first came out last year. Little improvement and added features since. No firewall/NAT options. Only shows wireless connected clients, no Ethernet connected devices. Is very reliable, however. Don't think I can hold out any longer and will have to pull the plug. Have installed dozens of Ubiquity products going 15 years back, yet this one, so far, is a let down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy on the budget. Light on the signal strength. Disregard what you see on Youtube about the signal strength of this tiny AP. It won't knock your socks off at 100' like the reviewer claims. But for $79 American you probably won't be too disappointed. I'm certainly not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade and you have a great device For the price nothing come close. Once you upgrade the code to the latest release you have a very flexible wireless router/AP.
