Watch out - this can blow out your camera

I had my camera in a dark spot, could not see if the camera was off or on - thought it was off but it was on. I changed the lens on my camera (which I have done tons of times with a battery) and it fried the insides of the camera. Roughly $1,000 to get it fixed. Just make sure that you turn the camera off before you change lenses etc.

It works but..

The block that comes with it feels frail and I have to tape the power cable to the block to ensure it doesn't come out
