Peak Design SL-BK-3 Overview

Carry your equipment in comfort and style with this black Slide Camera Strap from Peak Design. This strap uses strong, removable anchor connectors that attach to the eyelets of your camera or the included mounting plate, holding up to 200 pounds of gear and easily supporting most DSLR and mirrorless systems. By pairing this versatile connection with a wide 39 to 57" adjustable length, the Slide can be configured to work as a sling, shoulder, or neck strap.

The strap is 1.8" wide and made from nylon webbing that is padded internally to help ensure comfortable use. One side of the strap is smooth for sliding the camera to your eye when set up as a sling, the other side has a silicone grip that prevents it from slipping while worn on your neck or shoulder. The four included anchor points attach and detach from the strap with a single hand, and can be left on the eyelets so you can easily switch between cameras while shooting.

I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?

I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?
Asked by: Esmeralda
The Contax T2 35mm Film Camera only has one strap connector, as it is a small point-and-shoot camera. It was not designed for use with neck straps. A better solution for your usage needs would be to purchase either the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap (Black), B&H # PECFBL3, or the OP/TECH USA Cam Strap-QD (Black), B&H # OPSCQDB, for your usage needs. If you do wish to use the Peak Design SL-BK-3 Slide Camera Strap (Black), B&H # PESLBK3, you would have to connect the anchor connector for both strap ends onto the same strap connector on the camera. As I do not know if there is enough room on the strap connector for two anchor connectors, and as the camera has been discontinued and is no longer avaialble, you would just have to try it to see if it works; we have no way of testing this without the camera. If it does not work, we do have a 30-Day Return Policy so you may return the strap for an exchange or a refund.

How good comfortable is this for heavy gear (like D850 and 200-500)? The padding doesn't look all that substantial. Also, how does it attach to a tripod foot? Would I attach two connectors to the foot?
Asked by: Eric
I think it is very comfortable and for tripod foot it comes with Tripod Plate to attach to the foot

is the tripod mount that's included compatible with the PD travel tripod?
Asked by: Kyle
That thing included is not a tripod mount (if what you mean is can you connect it to a tripod.) It is just a plate that will allow you to attach anchor points to the tripod hole on your camera. Peak Design does separately sell tripod plates that the anchors can be attached to.
