Peak Design SL-AS-3 Overview

Carry your equipment in comfort and style with this ash Slide Camera Strap from Peak Design. This strap uses strong, removable anchor connectors that attach to the eyelets of your camera or the included mounting plate, holding up to 200 pounds of gear and easily supporting most DSLR and mirrorless systems. By pairing this versatile connection with a wide 39 to 57" adjustable length, the Slide can be configured to work as a sling, shoulder, or neck strap.

The strap is 1.8" wide and made from nylon webbing that is padded internally to help ensure comfortable use and leather. One side of the strap is smooth for sliding the camera to your eye when set up as a sling, the other side has a silicone grip that prevents it from slipping while worn on your neck or shoulder. The four included anchor points attach and detach from the strap with a single hand, and can be left on the eyelets so you can easily switch between cameras while shooting.

Question about the little connector slider plates: how sturdy are the strings? Can these be easily cut? I know the carry weight is substantial.. I'm thinking in terms of theft. Thanks!
Asked by: Jessica-Mae
The strings are sturdy BUT they can be cut easily. This strap holds a lot of weight but it is not slated as an anit theft strap.

I'm ordering the Slide Strap and I'm debating between the 1.3" or 1.8" version. I have a D750 and a D7000. My largest lens is a 150-600mm, but I mostly shoot with a 24-120mm and a series of small prime lenses. Any thoughts on which width would be more comfortable?
Asked by: Fred
Given your gear, I would recommend the 1.8" strap.

I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?

I have a Contax T2, Would this fit it?
Asked by: Esmeralda
The Contax T2 35mm Film Camera only has one strap connector, as it is a small point-and-shoot camera. It was not designed for use with neck straps. A better solution for your usage needs would be to purchase either the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap (Black), B&H # PECFBL3, or the OP/TECH USA Cam Strap-QD (Black), B&H # OPSCQDB, for your usage needs. If you do wish to use the Peak Design SL-BK-3 Slide Camera Strap (Black), B&H # PESLBK3, you would have to connect the anchor connector for both strap ends onto the same strap connector on the camera. As I do not know if there is enough room on the strap connector for two anchor connectors, and as the camera has been discontinued and is no longer avaialble, you would just have to try it to see if it works; we have no way of testing this without the camera. If it does not work, we do have a 30-Day Return Policy so you may return the strap for an exchange or a refund.
