    ew 112-p G3 Camera-Mount Wireless Microphone System with ME 2 Lavalier Mic - B (626-668 MHz) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 122.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Wireless Mic I never write reviews but orginally I bought the Azden WMS-PRO Wireless and it had a constant hum in the audi which I had to spend 15 min editing out. With this SET its AMAZING crystal clear. Do not make the same mistake I did just pull the trigger and buy it. If you try to save money like I did you will just end up spending more. At the same time when I was setting this up I had both units in my hand well one slipped and hit the CONCRETE FLOOR. I was like OMG NO! anything that hits this concrete floor is done. This set took the beating and its been a few months now and its working great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Solution for sound recording Bought this for shoot interviews during wedding film. At the first time it was very hard to make a decision to purchase this one because of price. I looked for cheaper models from Sony, Azden etc., read the customer reviews. At last I decided that disappointment from worse quality will last much more than joy from better price. I know that I purchase my gear for much years of heavy use. Cristal clear sound. Sturdy construction. Mobile phone's quantity doesn't affect the performance of receiver and even more pros. I use this thing also during wedding banquets to record clean sound of music, dance, conferancier speech. To do this I disconnect the lavalier mic and connect the transmitter directly to sound mixer of DJ. Perfect solution!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this wireless system! I purchased an EW 112 G3 wireless setup about 4 years ago when starting my documentary (interviews/verite shooting). It was recommended by a salesman at the B&H store over the higher priced unit I had come in to purchase - it's been rock solid and reliable ever since. Recently, I needed a second wireless setup for a 2 person mic shoot, and bought another one (different frequency block) - again, rock solid! I had bought a Tram TR50 to use on the first setup years back, but went with the factory mic for the second setup this time around. The factory mic sounds very good for an included mic, and would say it's on par with the TR50.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought this G3 kit to replace a Sennheiser EW100 G1 system when the transmitter finally bit the dust after a decade of service. The G3 is lighter, has far better controls and seems to give better battery life but doesn't seem to be as solidly built. For my purposes, the sound quality with the included ME2 lav mic is excellent. The wireless kit is expensive considering the type of training I do but it's ease of use and excellent sound quality makes it worth the price. My only unanswered question about the unit is whether the lighter plastic housing will be as durable as my original G1 kit it is replacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, great sound! I am using the Sennheiser ew 112-p G3 wireless mike system with my Canon XHA1S video camera and it is a breeze. I was very concerned, as I ordered it based on the recommendation of a friend, about the frequency compatibility. Unfortunately I did not check out the FCC compatibility site (go to Sennheiser's service support site) for wireless mikes and ordered one that is not recommended for the area (B&H sells multiple models with compatible frequencies for your particular area). Not to worry, I turned it on, found a free frequency, synced it up, and nothing but clear sound! The battery life is outstanding too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the investment Obviously, these wireless units are well-known in the production world. I finally invested in one, and it's already started to pay for itself. These are sturdy units, despite the flip-phone-like battery/button compartment. What I've already noticed with this particular mic is proper placement on your interview subject is paramount. When you can find that sweet spot from your talent's voice, these wireless units will pick up clean audio. I'm not a sound pro by any stretch, so I just run the receiver right into my Tascam for double-system sound while DSLR shooting. No fuss. Works great. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Regrets I have used these exact lavs for everything from outdoor interviews on a football field, to documentaries. Currently, I purchased this reliable set for weddings (to be stuck in the grooms jacket). They are trusty, have a long battery life and are intuitive to use should you have to put them to work before reading the manual. No snap, crackles or pops. Great for capturing what you want and nothing else. Expensive: Yes, but you buy them once and can trust them for years. EVS Burbank rents them for $45/day plus proof of production insurance. Save the hassle and invest if you can. Parts readily available too, should you break an antenna or lose the wind screen or something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound for Documentary I use this for interviews with an older Panasonic HPX170, with my new GH4, or using an H4n Zoom recorder. I purchased this to replace my original Sennheiser wireless lav kt, which worked for over 12 years of pretty constant use. The transmitter and receiver packs are much smaller than before, the AA batteries are easy to find, and the voice quality is great with the included mic. I also like that the receiver comes with a shoe-mount adapter to mount easily to a camera. The mic clip is good and its reversible, but there are times when it makes sense to tape the wire to prevent noise from the talent's movements.
