Explore the night using Pulsar's X970 4-8x50 Digital Night Vision Monocular. This NVD features a digital CCD sensor that is immune to bright light exposure, a 640 x 480 OLED display, and a 50mm f/1.0 all-glass lens system that will give you 4x optical magnification for close-ups on distant targets and an additional 2x digital zoom to achieve a total maximum magnification of 8x. You will also be able to observe objects and wildlife in detail as near as 16.4', thanks to a short minimum focus distance. To provide adequate visibility in total darkness, the scope also carries a built-in infrared laser illuminator that emits in the invisible 915nm wavelength and puts out up to 20mW of power. Another highlight of this device is the digital reticle with three stadiametric brackets that can help you estimate distances to certain targets. To enable long-term observation and reduce jitter due to unsteady hands, the ABS housing also features a 1/4"-20 tripod socket and Picatinny/Weaver-style mounting point. The Picatinny/Weaver mounting point can also be used to attach additional accessories.
