B&H's description of flash GN makes it hard to ...

B&H's description of flash GN makes it hard to compare flashes. For example, one flash will have a GN of 131 at 105mm and another a GN of 197 at 200mm (ISO 100 in both cases). Which is more powerful? B&H Explora offers no guidances on this issue. B&H should standardize GN specs so shoppers can make a proper comparison.

question

I notice that the availability of this i60a has changed from 26th July to Coming Soon . Is there a more accurate estimate for availability?
Asked by: Chris H.
They are now saying October 1st. Since Fuji is releasing a new flash of their own (the EF-X500) on 9/8 they probably forced Nissin to push the Fuji version of the i60 back. There's still no word on if an Air Commander trigger will be available for the Fuji model of i60, which is probably another reason for the delay.

question

When we can perches it??when it will be available to buy????
Asked by: Ruben M.
We anticipate receiving the Nissin i60A Flash for Canon Cameras November 23 2016. We are accepting preorders for the flash, which we would fill in the order they were placed. Otherwise, if you havent already, you could choose the Request Stock Alert on the flashs page on our site. We would then send you an email when the flash came into stock.

how do you activate HSS on camera flash with a Sony A7III?
Asked by: Jim
There are two control dials on the back of the Nissin i60A (left and right). The HSS (high-speed sync) activation button is located on the left side of the right control dial, and is indicated by the symbol "H⚡️". To toggle HSS On/Off simply press and hold the HSS button for approximately 1 second. If you have any other specific questions please contact us directly by sending your email to [email protected] Our offices are open Mon-Fri from 8:30am to 5:00pm PST. Best Regards,

Is the i60A considered a compact flash like the ...

Is the i60A considered a compact flash like the I40? I have a couple of Nikon SB-5000’s and SB-700’s. Looking for a compact flash to travel with for my Z6 and Z50. Trying to decide between the I60A and I40.
Asked by: Tyrone
Hi Tyrone, Good questions. Here are a few more differences to consider when deciding between the i40 and i60A. 1. The i60A has a built-in radio receiver so if you wish to use it off-camera you would be able to pair it with a Nissin wireless radio commander such as the Nissin Air 1 or Air 10s. The i40 has a built-in optical receiver for off-camera applications, but it does not have a built-in radio receiver. 2. The i60A has a zoom range of 24-200mm compared to the i40 with a zoom range of 24-105mm. 3. The i60A has 1/3 EV step power control compared to the i40 with 1/2 EV step power control. 4. The i60A weighs 11oz without batteries, the i40 weighs 7oz without batteries. I hope this additional information is helpful. Best Regards,
