does this has d ram?

does this has d ram?
Asked by: Peter
No, this is a Solid State Drive (SSD) which uses a completely different technology than Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM). SSDs are basically replacements for Hard Drives (SSDs don't have any moving parts, so they generally are much faster than a conventional Hard Drive which uses rotating magnetic "platters" and "heads" to read and write data). DRAM is generally used as RAM on computer motherboards. SSDs maintain their data when the power is turned off, but DRAM loses it on power off.

The crucial mx500 2TB compatible with the Atomos ninja v?
Asked by: Mitchell
I cannot answer this with absolute certainty, I have no experience with the Atomos ninja V. I use this for photo and video storage and for that it works great. A sata cable end on one side and a regular USB end on other side, it is plug and play with my laptop. Is it possible to contact Atomos support directly and ask?? That is all I can say. Joe
