The Klark Teknik VNET2-Dante Bridge is a rack-mountable device designed to facilitate the connection of a Windows computer or IT system to a range of products that do not natively support the Dante audio protocol, including VNET networked loudspeaker systems. Applications include corporate headquarters, theaters, music venues, sports arenas, university campuses, shopping malls, and more.
The VNET2-Dante Bridge is capable of driving a network with 25 devices that spans up to 0.62 mile without digital audio or 362' with digital audio. It also allows the computer user to convert Dante audio to two channels of analog for connection to any product with analog inputs, with or without VNET control (for use with 1st generation VNET equipped products).
Housed in a rugged steel case, the VNET2-Dante Bridge can be used free-standing or rackmounted. Up to three units can fit in a 1 RU rack space. Connectivity to a Windows desktop or laptop is simple and using standard Ethernet cabling, with interconnections between VNET devices via Cat 5 cables and RJ45 connectors.
Power can be provided by connecting the VNET2-Dante Bridge to a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch or with the VNET Interface power supply (both available separately).
