B&H # WEBMUT0200JW doesn't support hot-swap. The enclosure will be pre-configured in RAID 1 for redundancy, but you must turn off the device before removing a hard drive.

question

If I run out of storage space on the drives included in the unit, can I exchange the drives for 2 new ones?

You could replace the drives in the unit. However its often more cost effective to just buy another unit when they fill.
