Band.it BAND.IT M5 Overview

Keep your focus and zoom rings protected, or completely replace worn out grips with the M5 model of the Band.it Lens Band. Made of an elastomer polymer, this band goes over the rubber collars in your lens to improve functionality and help preserve the resale value of your gear. The M in its name refers to the medium diameter of this model, while the second character denotes the width of compatible collars on a scale of 1 to 8. These attributes allow it to fit the focus ring of the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM and the zoom ring of the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG OS HSM, among other lenses.

With a thick construction and raised ridges around its entire length, the Band.it makes your focus and zoom collars easier to find and better to grip while you shoot, and may be used to entirely replace rubber rings if they are damaged. By acting as a physical barrier, it reduces the impact of scratches and dings while preventing oils, dust, and UV rays from wearing down or damaging your gear. Finally, the extra tension exerted by the band helps keep focus or zoom creep problems at bay when shooting at more extreme angles.

question

Does these stretch? Which one would fit a 62mm diameter objective lens?
Asked by: syd t.
The band.it ba stretches over the zoom or focus ring of a lens to match its diameter and thickness, and the band's inside surface grips the zoom or focus ring on the lens securely to prevent lens creep and problems with focusing. The bands are made to fit specific brand and model lenses. Please contact us to let us know which lens you have so we can help you to find the band.it model for your lens. You can reach us by phone at 800-606-6969 or 212-444-6615, or contact us through live chat. We are happy to help.
