Compact and pocket-sized, SanDisk has preformatted this SSD as exFAT, meaning it is ready for immediate plug-and-play use with both Windows 10, 8.1 and 7, plus macOS High Sierra, Sierra, and El Capitan without the need for any special drivers or reformatting. Thanks to SanDisk SecureAccess 128-bit AES encryption, private files can be password-protected. Included is a USB Type-C to Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.

It will depend on the size of the music files you have. 1TB can fit up to 142,000 songs (7MB each). If you have larger files, you would fit less.

Is the Limited warranty limited only to USA purchasers or does it also include other countries, i.e. Canada?

The SanDisk website does not appear to limit its 'limited warranty' in North America to the USA. The warrantor is the same in any case, and any warranty claims would probably be made to the same California address. It would be short-sighted, if not bizarre, were SanDisk were to deny warranty coverage to a Canadian who purchased a SanDisk product from B&H.
