Offering bright light in a package small enough to fit comfortably on most pistols, the SureFire XC1 Ultra-Compact LED Handgun Light weighs just 1.6 ounces and measures just 2.4" long. Designed to fit most handguns with universal rails, the XC1 features a multifaceted reflector that produces SureFire's MaxVision Beam, which lights an area that approximates the typical human field of view.
Ambidextrous switching allows for momentary and constant-on activation with either hand, and the light can also be turned off by pressing the crossbar switch from left to right. The gasket-sealed, weather proof housing of the XC1 is made of lightweight but durable aluminum with a hard anodized finish. The light is powered by a single AAA battery, which yields a total runtime of 45 minutes.
