Based on AMD's Vega architecture and featuring high-bandwidth HBM2 Memory, the MSI Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost 8G OC Graphics Card allows you to have the full virtual reality experience.
The Radeon RX Vega 56 supports APIs, such as DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5. These APIs can take advantage of the GPU's 3584 Stream Processors to accelerate parallel computing tasks, taking some of the processing load off of the CPU. The Vega 56 also features a 2048-bit memory interface and a 410 GB/s memory bandwidth.
The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs. There are three DisplayPort outputs and a single HDMI output. With 8GB of HBM2 VRAM and support for AMD's Eyefinity, the Vega 56 card can provide an immersive gaming experience using up to four monitors. AMD FreeSync 2 technology allows the Vega 56 GPU and your monitor to dynamically change frame rates to reduce screen tearing. There is also a red LED logo.
To keep this card cool, MSI implemented a blower-style cooler. By using a radial fan, this system forces air over the components and exhausts it out through the front of the card and out of the case. This cooling configuration can be used in crowded workstation environments with multiple GPUs or where space between computer components can be a concern, as hot air is not recirculated back into the case.
