construction seems solid. the spring-loaded Blackmagic connection feels solid. I've ordered another one, so....
It's a little sticky going on the Blackmagic Design 5" Video Assist and the fact that it's straight and not right angle makes me hesitant to give much force when attaching it. The Blue Jeans Cable brand I had is right angled and attaches smoothly.
I bought this cable to run to my BM Video Assist 5. While advertised to be for this specific item, this cable does not fit the Video Assist's micro SDI connector. There are no notches to accommodate the locking pins and the overall circumference of the barrel of the connector is too small and will not fit.
It's perfect.
