question

Does this deliver TRUE high speed sync as compared to the Canon high speed sync?
Asked by: Derrick
All Siros L units with the latest software update (bit.ly/2flZJmN) are HS compatible. HS lets you use flash in combination with very short exposure time settings on your camera. For example, with ambient light, even with the aperture wide open (selective focus), the image can be underexposed correctly with up to 1/8000 s and Siros L still lets you set dominant and creative light effects. All you need for this is the RFS 2.2 trigger, which is available for Nikon, Canon and Sony cameras.

Is this backwards compatible with older (scoro A4s) packs? I own siros but needing rent additional lamps
Asked by: Cameron
WiFi ability with Scoro A4's I can't say for sure but my guess would be yes. Have used a sync cord with the RFS 2.2 coupled with Broncolor Pulso A4. This would require using two RFS 2.2 units, one as transmitter, other as receiver.

question

How does this compare to Nikon SU-800 wireless speedlight commander? and is this compatible with SB-700 speedlite?
Asked by: Brian M.
This is designed to work only with Broncolor lights so it cannot be compared to anything else except the original Broncolor wireless trigger. The difference with the original RFS 2 is that this one ((RFS 2.1) allows for high speed sync. Again, only for Broncolor newest lights

question

I'm planning to use both the Siros 800L and Siros 400S. Will the RFS 2.2 Transceiver control the Siros 400S?
Asked by: John
Yes, the RFS 2.2 N for Nikon can remotely control the power and modeling lamp of both Siros 800L and Siros 400S, along with standard flash sync for any RFS 2 enabled pack or lamp from broncolor. Note that HS flash synchronization is not possible on the Siros 400S though.

question

Can I use a pocket wizard to control the strobes or I have to buy an extra transmitter for the siros?
Asked by: John F.
Certainly you can use the PW to trigger the Siros, if your unit was ordered with PW integrated receiver. If not, you need the broncolor RF 2.2 to take full advantage of the broncolor's HSS. For a regular triggering you can use the standard sync cable (with PW) and build-in photocell.

question

How different is it from Godox X1T-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Nikon ?
Asked by: Oz John
The RFS2.2 has different internals than the Godox unit, with different firmware and hardware to make the compatible with any broncolor RFS2 flash pack or monolight.
