8sinn products while a lil bit more expensive than other brands, the quality of course is way better and has much more character. When tightening the Handel screw you can pull the gray knobs and re-adjust and tighten so it does not make contact with lenses or other parts of the rug.

Product description says "A 15mm rod can fit through the handle." When inserted into the handle, is there a way to fasten the rod so that it does not slip out?
Several 1/4 20" screws may be inserted (if long enough) into the threads and these can secure the rod in place, although depending on the rod material, you may be risking denting.

Is the handle able to rotate 360 degrees on the nato rail mount? I want to use it as a side handle and mount it vertically.
