Photoflex LiteDome Extra Large Overview

The Extra Large LiteDome (54 x 70 x 35") consistently delivers even, natural light from your strobe unit. Its internal diffusion baffle eliminates extreme highlights and hotspots. The internal baffle and diffusion face are each easily removed, allowing you to go from soft, diffused lighting to high-contrast without changing your setup.

The patented Quick Release Corners (QRC) make setup and teardown a snap. LiteDome softboxes are compatible with optional grids, giving you great control over light direction. Loop hooks are sewn into the outside of the dome to allow for hanging the softbox from above using a block and tackle.

  • Removable face allows you to adjust the natural, soft light to create just the right diffusion and contrast
  • Softens the light source and eliminates the hot spot
  • Suspension loops hang the softbox without a boom
  • Optional grids attach to the face to create different effects
  • Carry bag included for easy storage and transport
  • Quick Release Corners (QRC) for easy removal of rods

    question

how to assemble extra large lite dome?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Easy. The poles come attached but unassembled: just fit the two sides together and thread into the corner pockets of the soft box. Next, fit the pole ends that come out of the softbox into the speed ring that fits your strobe unit. I find that some speed rings work better than others with this softbox due to its size. If you haven't done this before it can be a little tricky, best to do catty-corners first, an assistant will also come in handy. Last, turn it over and attach the white diffusion material to the inside edges.
