    Garmin vivofit 4 reviews

vivofit 4 Activity Tracker (Small/Medium, Black) is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tracks all the important stuff I had this on back-order for a month, pending the product release by Garmin. So, on the day it was released, B&H shipped it and I got it two days later. It has lived up to the advanced hype and tracks steps, sleep and tons more than I can fully appreciate. I love its compact design that doesn't use up much space, and I could wear a watch beside it but, the watch face that's always there is fine. My watch sleeps all day on my dresser. A couple of tips: I have an unusually small wrist for an adult man and the Small/Medium size JUST fits. The only written instructions that ship with the product are for initial setup. After that, you're on the internet (I'm elderly). Sync with my iPhone is seamless. You will also love its 1 year advertised battery life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for what it does I had a heart monitor from Polar that broke. I bought a monitor from Garmin. I was unable to connect it to my Galaxy phone. I sent an email to B&H asking if the monitor would work with the vivofit 4. I was told it would. The instructions from Garmin show a way to connect. It does not work because the vivofit 4 is not programmed to match. After many attempts, I contacted Garmin. They told me the vivofit 4 nor the Samsung Galaxy would pair with the heart monitor. The only devices that pair are watches costing $300.00 or more. The vivofit 4 counts my steps and monitors sleep movement. And tells time. I even purchased a pairing stick, like a sd card to pair devices. It paired the vivofit 4 to my phone but not the heart monitor. The vivofit 4 is fine if you just want a step counter. Very disappointed .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied on two fronts I'm learning to use the vivofit 4 and so far I'm quite pleased with its capabilities and performance; I'm sure that as I get more acquainted with it, my level of satisfaction will grow even greater. I'm equally pleased with B&H's handling of the order. From the moment of placing the order, B&H handled it expeditiously and kept me informed every step of the way on its way toward my mailbox. Nicely done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Might have been great, but not for me. I had a Vivofit 2. Took a day to pair it, but eventually it served me well. I trashed it and decided to upgrade. Reviews of this product state it's nearly impossible to pair. On a different site that currently sells this, 1 and 2 star reviews exceed all other reviews. I figure those people are just being fussy. They aren't. I worked on this thing for 3 days. It never paired. 4 phones and the Ant Stick in the computer, it never paired. Garmin never answered their tech support phones, which were, at times, busy. It's been almost a week and they still haven't bothered to reply to email requests for assistance. So the Vivofit 2 went in the garbage and I bought a Fitbit Alta HR. I have had it in my wrist for 4 days and I love it. Fitbit Alta HR Pros: it works. It's small and unobtrusive. It does what the Vivofit does that I want: steps activity tracking (automated too), sleep monitoring (better than the Garmin Vivofit 2, at least). The best part is it pairs with my phone. Who'da thunk? Fitbit alta cons: The batter doesn't last a year. But it has gone 4 days without needing a charge. That'll work, because it paired with my phone. RESULT: My review of the Gamin Vivofit 4 says go guy a Fitbit Alta or Alta HR.
