Does this require both Optical Fiber ports to be plugged in or will it work off a single LC SM cable?

On the DIGITAL FORECAST Quad 3G Transmitter/Receiver Extender Kit over Duplex LC Single-Mode each fiber connection carries 3 SDI signals. The TX box would be 2 TX and 1 RX on each fiber. The RX box would be 2 RX and 1 TX per fiber. You would be able use a single fiber cable if you only need half the capacity of the DIGITAL FORECAST Quad 3G Transmitter/Receiver Extender Kit over Duplex LC Single-Mode.
