Blending an autofocus design with a desirable ultra-wide field of view, the Canon EF-mount AF 14mm f/2.8 Lens from Rokinon is a bright, wide prime well-suited for landscape, nature, and astrophotography applications. A sophisticated 15 elements in 10 groups optical design incorporates one extra-low dispersion element, two aspherical elements, and four high refractive index elements to suppress chromatic and spherical aberrations to achieve high sharpness, accurate color rendering, and even brightness from edge to edge. An Ultra-Multi-Coating has also been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast when working in strong lighting conditions. Complementing the optical design, the autofocus system makes use of a lightweight focusing group for quick and quiet performance that benefits both photo and video applications. Additionally, this 14mm f/2.8 sports an all-metal housing and is weather-sealed for use in inclement weather conditions.

Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 AF Reviews
Love it
I was looking for an astrophotography lens for my Canon t7 and I definitely found it!
A winner lens
We compared this lens to the Canon equivalent and found that even at open apertures this lens came so close to cannons results that for us don't justify to spend the money for the Canon lens. We compared the results at 128 magnification. This lens is a winner.
Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8
It works well, really like the extra wide angle I get from my 14mm. I have a Sony a9 and Sony A7rIII. It allows me, for a very reasonable price, to have one of my cameras as a fixed wide angle and the other flexible, with the 17-28mm f/2.8.
Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8 Lens (Nikon F) on Nikon Z 7II with FTZ
This review is for the Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F attached to an FTZ adapter on a Nikon Z 7II camera. The auto focus worked well when I tested it and I used manual focus for my landscape and Milky Way photography. Attached are the two Milky Way photos that I took recently using f/2.8, ISO 6400 and 25 sec exposure with a tripod (no star tracker). Both photos were post processed the same way to bring out colors, shadow, highlight, etc. without other editing. Overall, I am happy with the Rokinon AF 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon F on the Nikon Z 7II with the FTZ adapter for landscape and Milky Way photography.
Great lens
Use it for Real estate. Works Great.
Very good !
Typically I don't review the many things I've bought from B&H, believing that so many folks buy the same things that my nickel's worth wouldn't be that useful. However, this lens is likely not quite so common. I initially bought a cheaper 14 mm f 2.8 and found it badly wanting in sharpness. B&H allowed me to return it and issued a prompt refund { one big Atta Boy, B&H }. I bought this Rokinon and am very glad I did - it is incredibly sharp, has a good build and feel - AND has a well-functioning Auto Focus - seldom seen in other lenses with these specs. When I first opened the box I put it on my Canon 5D Mk IV, aimed far down the street to take some sample, random photos, and every feature on every house far down the block came in crystal clear and sharp. I'm a 'happy guy'. Nice lens, for sure.
Rokinon has refused to fix major flaw in this lens for years
Huge flaw of this lens is that Rokinon stubbornly refuses to fix a gigantic bug, easy to address but they don't care, after getting nagged for years. This lens will not communicate the 14mm focal length over to your camera, even though it's an AF/active-mount lens. So for SteadyShot to work, and for EXIF data to populate correctly (for loading lens profiles, etc.), you have to spend wasteful/priceless minutes probably missing your shot, digging into the menus to manually set it, and then (remember to) switch back to automatic focal length recognition when you swap out the lens.
It is just what I wanted for night photography and great vie
Works well with my D500. Tested it taking pictures at Quart Site AZ and Death Valley.
