Producing a truly distinct image quality, the 6.5mm f/2 Circular Fisheye Lens from Opteka is a Sony E-mount lens providing a 9.75mm equivalent focal length. Its fisheye design realizes an impressive 190° angle of view along with a unique circular image shape and strong distortion for a surreal quality. One super-low dispersion element is featured in the optical design, and helps to minimize color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to realize high clarity and color accuracy. An HD anti-reflection coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast in bright lighting.

Opteka 6.5mm f/2 Circular Fisheye Reviews
for its price it is great
just for you to know it is a low quality lens with blurry edges but for its price it is more than enough
love this lens it is such a fun lens
sharp ,, love it --Just what I was looking for
Excellent for the money
For the price, this is a very good fisheye lens. Note that this lens is manual aperture and focus, although that does not matter much for a fisheye. Fisheyes are not a common use case, so if you want to try one out for cheap, this is ideal.
6.5 mm fisheye
It works very well on my Canon M50. I just love the circular effect.
Beautiful!!!
The images from this len is incredibly detailed , and beautiful rendered. This is a fun len to use and easy to focus on my Sony A6300. Using the Sony image magnifier you can easily focus on subject. Its one of my favorite lens.
Okay in small doses
True fish-eye lenses like this (that project a circular image within the frame area in order to achieve full 180 degree view in all directions) are an acquired taste and not suitable for many occasions, but that said if the opportunity arises they can be fun. One this I noticed is that on a bright day, as shown in the examples here, when fully open the lens exhibits a couple of concentric bright bands that don’t appear when it is stopped down. Just something to be aware of. For the price and given its compactness, this lens is certainly worth keeping in your bag if you like this kind of shooting.
poor lens
if you need wide angle and 100% focus on the entire area of your image consider investing some more for a real wide angle form a major brand
Circular framing of all photos
I bought this f2 fisheye lens mostly for astral photography. The (manual) focus is nice and sharp but every image has a circular framing on the wide side and a flat top and bottom. I hate this because I get no image on the corners and thus loose ½ of the sensor imaging area to black corners. I am returning this lens for just this reason.
