The drive is an excellent adjunct to my laptop. It holds everything from my desktop so I need not clutter the laptop's hard drive and, on return home, it makes it simple to copy and transfer what I've done on the laptop back to the desktop seamlessly.

Not a speed demon but a consistent 20-25 MB per second write speed. Used several others in this price range and didn't measure up.

This is the fastest USB 3 drive I have, only because it is 3.1 speed. The part that goes into the port is thin formed plastic - hope it lasts! There is also a long slot for your key ring.

Tiny!
