GyroVu GV-CM11H2 Overview

The GyroVu Heavy-Duty Dual 11" Articulated Arms with Adjustable Clamp provides an extended-length solution for attaching a monitor or accessory to your gimbal. It features two arms connected with an adapter and has a jaw clamp on the end. The clamp can grip onto gimbal tubes, tripod legs, table edges, and other objects matching its clamping range of 0.5 to 1.5". It's secured by a T-handle and is rubber-padded to prevent twisting and scratching.

The articulating arms have native 1/4"-20 studs on the ends and can be used in various other applications if removed. They use a rosette center locking mechanism, which prevents slipping due to wear or insufficient tightening. A wingnut in the center of each arm tightens all three joints of the arm at the same time.

Great macro lighting third hand

This thing is fiddly to adjust, isn't terribly compact when folded up, and weighs a lot, but it needs to be to give the range of adjustment and stability it offers. I use this with a Manfrotto befree tripod and a Pentax AF360FGZ flash. It holds the flash well, though I know it is not the heaviest unit in the world, and the jaw clamp fits the Manfrotto's leg. That's what I needed to move into a world where camera bodies no longer include a flash for wireless P-TTL control and instead, I need to return to relying on cabling. I'd highly recommend this, though, if you need a good stable way to mount lights to travel tripods.

I purchased to be able to place a camera over my work surface while I am livestreaming. it is a solid piece and works great, very adjustable and easy to set up and use. It is a little smaller in length than I expected but it still works great.

It's okay

The good thing is the length of the arm is quite long, but the downside it is not sturdy enough. SO be careful before putting heavy stuff to be held by this arm.

Very Impressed

Great Articulated Arm

The GyroVu Heavy-Duty Dual 11 Articulated Arms with Adjustable Clamp works great. When you set it up, tighten the joints a little, so it's easier to position. I'm only putting a small webcam on it but it seems very sturdy and stays in place. I was the perfect solution for my Ben Q monitor that did not have a built in webcam (I attached it to the stand handle.) I use another articulated arm for a light overhead of the webcam but this articulated arm is by far a preferable choice. Great little arm, so glad I bought it, it was the perfect choice for my situation and I looked at a number of options.

Almost never need a tri-pod again!

It is interesting to consider everywhere you can attach this and snake the camera into position. For desktop application it allows me to place a camera behind my monitor without impacting desk space as it is clamped to the monitor's base. It is long and can be difficult to get where you want so I recommend adjusting a segment to approx where you will want it and tighten and then do the same to the other side, then slightly loosen until it can be moved into its final position but not be a complete wet noodle. I am so glad I got this over a tripod for my desk cam.

Can this support DLSR cameras? (Canon 6d Mark ii and a lens)
Asked by: Tori
Yes, it will support Canon 6d Mark II, providing it will be with the regular lens. If you planning to mount it on the edge of flat surfaces you can use GV-CM3-MMA11H2 (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=gyrovu%20gv-cm3-mma11h2&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ps)

Asked by: Alex
The GyroVu Heavy-Duty Dual 11" Articulated Arms with Adjustable Clamp does not state the load. It is meant for putting light weight devices. We would suggest that 2-3 lbs is the limit.

Hello, should I bay additional connector to camera or it alredy includes? Is there some connector to mobile? Can this arm be longer, is there any extensions for it? Thanks

This has the standard connection for a camera. If you wanted to use a Smart Phone with it you would just need an adapter like BH #XUMTA300B.

I have a cannon EOS 800D. It weighs 1lb 12 ounces. Will the GyroVu GV-CM11H2 support the weight of my camera?
Asked by: Carlos
It should hold the weight of the camera, however, I'd be leery of using it for extended periods of time as the joints may eventually slip. I used the product to hold a machine probe against it's relatively resistant connective cable, and after a time it would start to pull the arm out of the desired position.
